While shopping on Amazon is the norm for 86% of Brits, the convenience it offers makes it easy to forget just how much of a giant Amazon has become, and potentially to the detriment of smaller businesses.
With Amazon Prime Day around the corner, the tech giant is in line to make a whopping £1.4 billion from sales in the UK alone.
New research from Real Business Rescue can reveal that small businesses could in fact make this kind of money, but it would take 314 years to achieve this...

Commenting on the research, Shaun Barton, National Online Business Operations Director at Real Business Rescue said: “The convenience of Amazon can cause a moral quandary for shoppers who’ve had years of buying from them online knowing they can receive their items in less than 24 hours.”
