In light of tonight’s announcement of an air-bridge with Portugal, I wished to share the following Portuguese hotels, resorts, villas and apartments which have availability throughout the coming months.
All of the properties are owned and operated by Discovery Hotel Management, one of Portugal’s most disruptive hotel groups, and should you require any commentary from the Managing Director, Francisco Moser surrounding the announcement and the impact of having no air bridge for the last few months, then please do let me know.
Algarve

Central Portugal
- Palácio da Lousã, Lousã – formerly Viscondessa do Espinhal Palace, the hotel combines the charm of its historic surrounds with the utmost comfort, set in beautiful gardens with picturesque views of the mountains. Ideal for nature lovers and those looking to go climbing, walking and mountain biking. Average rate = €80 per night, room only.
Each property is offering flexible booking options under their brand-wide ‘Reopening Campaign’ including:
- New Times: €1 per night donated to local or national institution of guests’ choice
