Wahaaj Shabbir, Sneaker Category Manager at eBay UK  said: “I’m so excited to bring OG Drops back and make some of the hottest drops accessible to both sneakers and music fans alike. We’re focusing on sneakers from iconic music moments in this next version, as the cultural connection runs deep. Some of the most beloved sneakers for me have music at their core, whether it’s Run DMC in Superstars or Travis Scott Nike Dunks. So bringing it all together, we’ll be opening our new Sneaker Store pop-up in Manchester, a city steeped in style and music history.”

Rapper, Singer and Actor, IAMDDB said: “The first sneakers that really caught my eye were those worn by the stars which appeared on stage and in music videos. So my link to sneakers has always been deeply rooted to music. What makes these two industries so special is their communities, so it’s great that eBay is opening up the chance to get coveted pairs from across the years to everyone. I can’t wait to explore the connection between the two at the Sneaker Store gig in Manchester.

DJ and Broadcaster, Yasmin Evans said: “Just as records are meant to be played, sneakers are meant to be worn! I look forward to hosting eBay’s Sneaker Store gig in my home town of Manchester, with every purchase of the hyped pairs going towards Olympias Music Foundation, who carry out great work championing diversity in music.
