THE WALDORF HILTON LAUNCHES AFTERNOON TEA HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
London 10th August 2020: London’s historic hotel, The Waldorf Hilton has announced plans to deliver a little piece of British luxury to Londoners’ doors with its new Afternoon Tea delivery service.
While social distancing guidelines are changing the way in which food and drink outlets are able to operate, The Waldorf Hilton is bringing the indulgence of its Afternoon Tea offering directly to the customer to experience in the comfort of their home.
The Afternoon Tea comes complete with a selection of sandwiches and savouries including smoked salmon, honey roast ham, mint crème fraiche and mature cheddar. It will also include The Waldorf Hilton’s Fairtrade Hope and Glory tea, handpicked from Sri Lanka.
Those with a sweet tooth can look forward to an array of treats including classic and raisin scones with clotted cream and jam all served alongside a bottle of POP Pommery Champagne to enjoy.
To recreate the sophisticated hotel atmosphere at home, the package will include a QR code which when scanned will play classical music from The Waldorfians, the hotel’s popular house band from the 1920s, to which the Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed.
The beautifully packaged offering will be available throughout the Summer and has been expertly crafted to keep produce fresh and flavoursome upon arrival.
Bookings for Waldorf’s Afternoon Tea delivery will be available to book from the 7th August via the Supper app and is priced at £50 for two people. And is available to be delivered within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
