LATAM recognised as the world's most punctual airline
The report by international consultancy specialists OAG awards the LATAM Group with the best On-Time-Performance (OTP) performance in 2021.
The LATAM Group has achieved first place in the "Mega Airlines" category of the 2021 punctuality ranking from prestigious international consultancy, OAG.
The recognition is based on the accumulated monthly statistics provided by OAG, which ranks the world's largest airlines according to their punctuality indicators in accordance with the OTP indicator. The list brings together 20 of the world’s largest airlines (according to the number of scheduled flights) and categorised as "Mega Airlines". From those, a final ranking of the top 10 is identified.
"In a very difficult scenario, with an increase in COVID infections and in the middle of the high season, our efforts must be even greater to take care of our passengers. These recognitions are in addition to the data delivered by OAG and Cirium highlighting the group's on-time performance in 2019 in the "Mega Airlines" and "Global Network" categories, respectively.
