Independent fashion brand Belle-Modelle has launched its first BM branded womenswear collection for autumn/winter 2021 featuring joy-inducing brightly coloured and affordably priced cosy sweaters and scarves. Aimed at women aged 30-58, all knits are available in two sizes 1 (8-14) and 2 (16-20). Belle-Modelle founder Leila Gregory, comments: “We wanted to create a high quality but affordable collection that is flattering and easy to wear with designs that will inspire women to embrace colour whatever their size or shape.
“We will be expanding our initial edit over the next few months with more knits as well as trousers, bold clashing print dresses and eventually our own denim range.
Bellatrix Boxy Knit Jumper £38.95
Belle-Modelle’s Bellatric Boxy Knit Jumper in burnt orange, hot pink, yellow and black is super versatile and easy to wear. The loose boxed shape provides perfect cover up for layering over jumpsuits, dresses, t-shirts or a crisp shirt, making this jumper an autumn essential which will carry through into winter.

The Knit 21 range features six loose fit jumpers in vibrant colours with batwing arms, that narrow over the hips for a flattering style. The knit has a great stretch to it so the sweaters can sit comfortably on the hips or be pulled up to the waist. Leila Gregory, 50, is the creator of Belle-Modelle’s joy-inducing collection. Her mission is to inspire real women of all shapes and sizes to embrace stylish, colourful clothing.
Affordability and comfort have been key in the development of the first BM branded capsule collection which targets women aged between 30 and 58 but appeals to those younger and older too. Having worked in retail for 35 years and sourced fashion and homeware for her online and Dorchester based Belle-Modelle retail shop since 2014, this is the first collection that Leila has designed. Her long term goal is for 90% of the clothing she features to be BM branded.
