EVENT | YOUNG'S CELEBRATES 190 YEARS OF BEER FOR YOUNG'S DAY 🍻 🎉

Thursday 16th September marks Young’s 190th birthday and to celebrate the pub group will be hosting a series of events,
giveaways, and surprises every Thursday throughout the month. With a little help from their friends at Beavertown and
Two Tribes, Young’s is celebrating all things beer, marking the big 1-9-0 with chin-dribbling burger shack parties, art
classes, and the return of the traditional dray cart and horses. Be sure not to miss the action!
9th September – Draw a-long with Beavertown, The Northcote, 5.30-7.30pm / 8-10pm www.thenorthcote.co.uk
Pencils at the ready for an art class and beer tasting at The Northcote in Clapham with Nick Dwyer, award- winning
illustrator and creative director of Beavertown. Meet the artistic talent behind the beer’s distinctive artwork and Young’s
190th commemorative glass and get to dabble in creating your own designs. Spaces are limited so keep your eyes peeled
on @youngspubs Instagram for your chance to win a spot at one of the classes.
16th September – Young’s Day! – The Great Greenwich Tour, 11.45am-5pm
Toasting to 190 years, every Young’s pub, from Cambridge and London to Devon, will be celebrating with their very own
parties, while lucky On Tap app users will receive a free pint treat – simply check the ‘Your Treats’ section to see if you
have a pint surprise. Keep your eyes peeled for Young’s famous dray horses taking to the streets for The Great
Greenwich Tour; leaving from Richard I on the historic Royal Hill at 12.30pm, before moving onto Old Brewery, Cutty
Sark and ending at Young’s newest pub, Enderby House.
23rd September – My BS Birthday with Two Tribes, 6.45pm, The King’s Arms –
www.kingsarmswandsworth.co.uk
It’s burger and bun times, as Two Tribes brewery and Burger Shack unite at The Kings Arms in Wandsworth. Party the
night away with live entertainment to the backdrop of Two Tribes DJs, plus plenty of patties, hot dogs, and beer tastings.
Make sure to grab a bite of the monthly burger special, The Sabbath – a Sunday Roast burger with beef patty, Angus
rump, slow-cooked ox cheek, carrot, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Book your table here.
Raise a glass this September and celebrate 190 years of beer with Young’s, with further events, parties and giveaways
happening across the 200+ pubs. Contact your nearest local to find out what they’ll be doing to celebrate.
