Game, Set, Match: Brits get into the Wimbledon spirit by shopping Tenniscore trends
With Wimbledon well underway and the men’s and women’s finals fast approaching, the latest shopping data from Clearpay, - the ‘buy now, pay later’ platform and principal sponsor of London Fashion Week- indicates Brits are getting into the swing of the tournament, with sales of Tenniscore acing consumers shopping baskets this month.
The latest data reveals that Brits are looking to the likes of Venus Williams and Emma Raducanu for style-inspo, with sales of skorts up a huge 1012% this quarter compared to the previous quarter, and 410% higher year on year. Additionally, sales of polo shirts have increased by 24% quarter on quarter with Lacoste, Fred Perry and Ralph Lauren featuring in the best sellers list.
Tenniscore accessories and footwear have also slipped into Brits’ wardrobes this summer, with White Canvas Trainers also topping the Tenniscore bestsellers lists. Tennis Deluxe Bracelets also ranked high, experiencing an 8% increase in sales this quarter, possibly inspired by the diamond-lined bracelet worn by Chris Evert in the 80s which famously broke mid-match before she requested a time out to search for the piece of jewellery on the court.
