THE ULTIMATE CORNISH PAIRING…
GINSTERS AND TRIBUTE ALE UNITED IN THE STEAK & ALE PASTY
Back by popular demand, two of Cornwall’s greats – Ginsters and Tribute Ale – have joined forces once again to create a true Taste of Cornwall. Introducing Ginsters Steak & Ale Pasty…
In collaboration with renowned Tribute Ale from St. Austell Brewery, Ginsters Steak & Ale Pasty is made with 100% Red Tractor British steak, marinated with Cornwall’s pale ale, potato and leek, wrapped in light puff pastry.
Ginsters and St. Austell Brewery are famed, long-established Cornish businesses, which have baked and brewed in Cornwall for 50 and 150 years respectively. Now, the nation’s favourite pasty maker is coming together with one of the fastest growing cask ales in the UK to create this classic recipe.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Tribute Ale, who we know share our brand values around Cornish heritage, pride and quality,” says Kieran Hemsworth, Managing Director of Ginsters.
“We’re confident that this recipe, inspired by our Cornish roots, will be a hit among both pasty and ale lovers - not only in Cornwall but across the nation. Steak and ale is a much-loved combination, and this particular ale is a rich marinade for the savoury flavours of steak and vegetables. It creates a light touch of malty sweetness for a distinctive taste that Ginsters and St Austell Brewery are collectively famous for.”
The Ginsters Steak & Ale Pasty will be available nationwide in Tesco from 11 November 2019, retail price of £1.70.
