Xabier Etxarri: a man of many unexpected layers


This year Chile's Torres del Paine National Park celebrates its 60th anniversary, and few people know the Park in more detail than Pura Aventura's co-founder Xabier Etxarri. Indeed, it was while hiking in the Torres del Paine in the mid-1990s that the idea of starting a specialist tour operator first took place. Today, Xabier continues to take Pura customers to some of the Park's lesser-known corners and is the author of the Park's manual used to train new guides.

Naadam Festival - A Closer Look


Taking place each year from 11-13 July, Mongolia's Naadam Festival is one of the most colourful and extraordinary festivals in the world.
